Hello, my name is

Zachary DiNucci

I am a Game Developer with a bachelor's degree from Boise State's College of Innovation and Design through their Games Interactive Media and Mobile Technology (GIMM) program and an associate's degree in History.

You will find examples of single-player, multiplayer, AR, and VR games in Unity and Unreal Engine. These games are a mixture of solo and group projects primarily done in the last two years, and some can be found on Itch.io and Github.

About this Game

Today East Middle School holds its annual food fight. You and your classmates will battle in the cafeteria in order to see who is the last standing in a best of 3 team deathmatch. Use food to hit the other team to knock them out. Use water to clean your team and help them last longer. In this VR FPS, you are the deciding factor of who wins and losses.

About the Development

While developing Food Flingers, I wanted to use the hand tracking of the Valve Index Controllers to create a wizard game based on casting spells using hand shapes. However, when a friend joked about making a food fighting game, I decided to switch to that idea, which led to this. I modeled and rigged the AI for this game using Blender, and they were one of the first times I ever rigged a 3D object in blender. My brother created the soundtrack for this game which I then imported into Unity.
